ROBBS GONE BUSH
Hi all,
My son (16 yrs) and i are planning to head to Cameron's Corner via
WANAARING and were wondering what the road conditions are usually like dry and wet as we will be travelling alone.
Leaving first weekend in October, 2014 and have 8 nights to explore, would appreciate any guidance on where to
camp overnight (OzTent). We are happy to
free camp where possible.
We have a 2004 3.0 Litre Diesel Patrol Wagon towing an off-road POD trailer (750kg). Would it be necessary to carry a 20ltr jerry of diesel with the standard 80 +30ltr tanks?
Leaving Penrith 7am and thinking of first stop being Coolabah (not sure if we can make
BOURKE before sundown) then next night Cameron's Corner, then
INNAMINCKA, then
SILVERTON, then
MENINDEE LAKES, then
HILLSTON, then PARKES, then
home.
Cheers
Rob and Matt

My only bit of advice Rob "Which incidentally has nothing to do with your question"
would be to make sure your 16 year old son has not got a soccer game on during your trip.....WE REALLY NEED HIM AND KYLE WONT BE HAPPY IF HIS MATE ISNT THERE LOL!
I'm looking into those heat exchangers :)
