Bogong Alpine area map states the hut is a ruin, so the photo is misleading.

Lots of photos will be misleading, because half the huts burnt down!

So how many of the
free camping places on this website also have incorrect information? If people have up to date info they should post it so it can be corrected. While all campers should be self sufficient it would be a bit disappointing to turn up to a site thinking you will a nice hut with an open fire to enjoy only to find that it is a ruin.
P.S. I maintain and restore a number of huts in NSW, Vic and the ACT.
