Hi All
I am wondering if anyone has visited or stayed at the Turtons Creek
camping area. It is situated in South East Gippsland in Victoria. I would like to get some
feedback on the area. Last time i tried to drive to
check it out the road was closed due to a landslide. Any
feedback would ge great.
Thanks

Gday
Yes there is a
campsite at Turtons creek ,just up the back of
Foster. I have walked over it but not stayed.I must say it was a few years back. Sister in law lives just up the
hill from there .

Hi Glenn,
There is a large
camping area near the Turton's Creek falls. Great spot, but can get busy on weekends and holidays. Quite a few motorbike users use it as a base.
No facilities, so be prepared. I was there about a month ago and the place was in good nick.
Cheers, Geoff

Glenn, if you do end up going there, could you please pop your comments/
feedback in the
Places page for Turtons (the link is now in the top of this post, and you would have received an email with this link). That way, other people doing the same research as you will be able to find
feedback. thanks. I hope your visit goes
well.

Thanks for the info. So I can assume very busy for
Easter. If we got there first thing Good Friday morning is there likely to be enough space.
