After all the mayhem caused by the killer Chihuahua's roaming the land, attacking and maiming humans any chance they get. I thought a national song may calm our frayed nerves.

Please enjoy this while you can. Waltzing Matilda sung in KRIOLE, a mixture of local aboriginal dialect, pidgeon english and a smidgen of chinese.

Looks like they had fun doing that. It's a great version.

Good one, still brings a lump to the throat even in a strange tounge. Beats the crap out of what we have now (IMHO), Mind you the squeeze box did sound like it contained at least one Chihuahua. :-)

After reading the intro of your post, I was very hesitant to click your link but I'm so glad I did! That's an excellent rendition of Waltzing Matilda, the tempo was so upbeat and quality of recording was first class. Really impressive, regardless people like me can't understand more than a word or two of it!

A good find, and a good post after all. Thanks for sharing it.

Like Michelle, I was hesitant about opening the link. However, on her recommendation I did. We both thoroughly enjoyed the clip and have forwarded the link to our children and their families.

We encourage any other doubters to do the same.

Again, our thanks for sharing it. Kathie
