Hi. I had Black Widow drawers fitted over 230,000 kms and 12 years ago. No problem with the drawers. Have
tools in 1 and cooking gear, stove, pots etc in the other. Vehicle has done plenty of bush trips,
Birdsville,
The Tip, Tassie,
Bourke & Wills 150 year trip etc, have been travelling on a trip around OZZ for 8 months. No affiliation with Black Widow just very happy with the drawers. Whatever make you get, I hope they serve you
well!

We bought a full set of black widow drawer system (including fridge slide) and full length shelves that run full length from the back of the drawer unit, to the back of the front seats.
These are excellent as they help things stay very organized.
Obviously we have removed all the passenger seating( except the front seats of course)..no room for kids :)
My husband made 2 custom aluminium cargo barriers. 1 behind the the front seats and the second one behind the passenger seats..(the area where they were anyway)
The drawer system is a side by side model. ( ie not on top of each other)
We did get all the drawers and shelving system off EBay. They were second hand, but in excellent condition...and they only cost a fraction of the new price too.
I think the full system was around $1,800 delivered from QLD to southern SA
I wouldn't let my husband try to make them (although
well qualified to do so)...it wasn't worth the hassle/stress...not that I thought he couldn't produce an excellent job....
The only thing we needed to alter was, to cut a piece off the top of the drawers to accommodate the rear a/c ducting.. the model these suited didn't have the rear a/c option.
Hope that helps
Cheers
Robyn
