free camp near wonboyn nsw over easter?

G'day all, anyone know of a campsite/caravan park, maybe freecamp 'n dog friendly even a vacant paddock! near wonbyn nsw over easter as I have to go to a wedding there with short notice, I have contacted the c'vn parks, they r booked out & not dog friendly. I desperatly need help!! thanks, dingo

The only one I know of is Scrubby Creek Forest Picnic area , it's just off the Princes Highway a few hundred meters from the Wonboyn turn off . Popular with caravans for an overnighter but is in sight and sound of the highway so best not to leave caravan unattended . Looks pleasant but I have never gone in to look . This may be what you need as it is only about 8 kms to Lake Wonboyn . It's listed in places on EO.

I have found the wikicamps app very useful in looking for this sort of stuff. I also have the camps 7 book. Between all of them I have got most of it covered when looking for camp spots, free or otherwise.
