Review: Green Bird Flower or Rattlepod

My Wildflower Rating: My Rating 4/5

Widely known as Stuart's Pea - especially in SA & NT.
Also named Hack's pea by FG Waterhouse in 1861-62, while travelling as naturalist on John McDouall Stuart's successful south-north crossing of the continent.
Grows almost exclusively on sandhill crests.
Rope like nature (of plant stems) is alleged to have been made into sandals and or rope by indigenous people.(Latz)
