Great Central Rd condition

G'day all, I know it's frowned upon when a business member starts a thread, but hopefully they'll let this one ride as it is purely an update on the road to keep you all updated with Easter and School hols fast approaching, it should be of interest to a few.

We recently had heavy rain through the region, everywhere from Laverton to Yulara. It has cleared now, and the road has opened right through from Laverton to the NT Border, and from the border to Yulara has now opened to 4wd.
The road for the most part this end is in excellent condition, though be careful of a few washouts along the route after this rain. The Laverton shire section is all recently graded and is in the best condition it has been in for a few years now.
Caravans and campers have already started heading through with an early start to the season and hopefully the Shires will keep up this excellent road maintenance throughout the season.

Cheers
Al and Serena

Why would it be a problem to start a thread if you're a business member.
Thanks for the up to date info.

Why would it be frowned upon??
Surely your membership allows you to participate on the forum.
At the end of the day, your input is based on real world experiences & not as an armchair expert!

Agree shaker - Jeff @ Mt Dare used to post regular road condition updates, as does Anne @ Drysdale River when the season opens.
