Chillagoe to Maytown via Palmerville - Is it open to the Public?

Hey all,
Just catching up on some reading on
Maytown area and came across that access from
Chillagoe to Palmerville is OK but from Palmerville into
Maytown from the West was closed due to a cranky land owner. This was a while ago, so I'm hoping he's moved on and that its all now good to access
Maytown from this direction..... Is this correct or is it still closed ??

Morning Robmac.
The Struber's, husband and wife, are on bail awaiting there next court date, July 22nd for the murder of a prospecter on July 2012. As far as I know there are no problems with accessing the area anymore.
We are heading up there the middle of May, so I might be able to give you more info then, if l'am alive lol.
