Gas bottle double adaptor ?

All.

I am off in couple of weeks for a break and I am taking the Webber Baby Q as well as my gas BBQ which both have the large outlet (POL?) I only want to take the one gas bottle but want use both BBQ's at the same time. Is there such a thing as a double adaptor to go on the one bottle so that both can be used?

Thanks

Greg

I seem to remember seeing an item that screws on to the bottle, has an outlet for a camp light and another outlet for the bar b que. Seem to think they were available from Big W or K Mart in the camping section. Bob

Hi Kev,

Does that adaptor fit a 4 (kg) bottle or only a Primus brand bottle?

Cheers Rob

Rob,

I would guess all POL outlets, I think Primus is just the brand name.

big thing to remember is what appliances you are using are high pressure (no regulator required) or low pressure (needs regulator)

Ive worked in teh gas industry for 10 years and have seen people rigging things incorrectly and just about killing themselves--ie running high pressure (no reg) to a low pressure appliance--suddenly gas coming through 100 times faster than needed and well the consequences are never good...

speak to your local camping/gas store and get the right advice..
