hi All, I keep getting emails off forum from forumites saying "you've been quiet" and "have you got your car" the short answers are...yes I have been, and no I don't..ahhahaha....I started a post grad course this year via correspondence..and have been doing some research...but I'm still here...and the car, HOPEFULLY will be here by the end of the week. Luckily it's Al dealing with them and not me, because my patience is wearing mighty thin...

for Andrew's benefit - I've not forgotten about the bbq - it'll be Anzac day which is a Sunday, it'll be most likely here but I shall make a post after the long weekend with the details...and I just might make you a special bread and butter pudding Andrew - Mrs. Al style, not Mrs. Beeton style..ahahhahha...

Lyn, it is a woman's nightmare to try and hibernate for her own well being, and then some mischief making male specie comes and disturbs the whole process. I know, because I tend to live in a bachelor neighbourhood and a male dominated home. The bachelors drop in for a homecooked meal, such as roasts etc, and bread and butter pudding, at no warning, "you know something mum used to cook," they say. Mr B (cousin 45) has now decided he will now look for a country bachelorette. I say "Yipee, one off my hands" although I think he needs a mum not a lover. Any available in your area???LoL Cheer up, don't wear too thin:>) Jen

Gee whiz Jen - no wonder you are having trouble with the blokes dropping in - I can see it in those photos you sent us - your a real 'looker'.

As for deserts - my Jen makes this super Toblerone mousse - now you know why my waistline is like it is...

Lyn, that is a shame, you must be a well matched area. I may have to hold a bachelors bush ball here, or start an advertising agency. I love playing cupid, or being stupid, they go hand in hand. Jen

Andrew, Yes, they are country bachelors and they have an interest in horses:>)
Yum, Toblerone mousse desert. Who worrys about waistlines, especially when they dissappear at a certain age anyway, or they start to grow attachments. Let bygones be bygones. Does you sweet Jen share her recipes? I sent her one last night to help with the energy levels at your house. Jen

Andrew, now I know what to get you for your birthday. Better take that "2001 Landscruiser 100s diesel" off and leave the Turbo there as I think that might apply, she probably has more get up and go than the cruiser. Cute little sweetie!! Jen

Hi Mrs Al,

It was nice to meet you briefly at the Wandin 4WD Show
and sorry, my reply has nothing to do with your new car (by the way sounds great).
I am looking for a little friendly help in regard to the LD trip that's happening in March, and did not want to pose the question to the general forum.

You see I am the Muddy girl from Post id 8408, John's new lady friend, (he was the other 6'6' one talking to Mr Al at Wandin) and due to Pony Club committments with my own daughter, will be unable to attend the LD trip with him, (so much to do, so little time).

So this is where I need some help, John will be turning the big "40" a couple of days after the trip. And seeing he embarassed me so with his post 8408, I was wondering if you would be able to pass the word around on the trip and wish him a happy birthday (as I know that will embarrass him)

Hoping you can help...............
