If so how was the road and how long did it take , thinking of doing this in the first week of June after doing the GCR to Uluru

Well graded dirt road. Easy drive unless its wet.

Drove that route in a Mini in 1971 on the way to Uluru and back for Easter.
Left Adelaide at 5am and had lunch at Kingoonya.
The road has only improved since then....
