Dmax fuel economy readings reversed

Hi All
My 2013 Dmax has just started to do something wierd, the fuel economy gauge reading seems to be reversed, it is telling me that the fuel consumption improves on acceleration and gets worse off the throttle.
Any ideas ?
Otherwise the car is running fine.

It was pointed out to me that on the end of the indicator stalk is a button which if you press and hold on Select Mode it brings up a menu which alters the computer read out in a variety of formats including litres/ km , km/litres, etc.

Typically happens after the battery has been disconnected or if someone has accidentally changed the settings

I feel a bit silly now, it was indeed a change in settings due to the battery being disconnected, anyway I'm happy it was something simple.
