We're looking for track conditions for this route, planning to head that way early next week. We have an offroad camper, towing with a hilux 4wd, experienced 4wd driver. Just checking updated conditions, and possible depth of Murray crossing.

Hi Lisa & Peter,
sorry I can't help you with the track conditions, but I do know that snow is expected for the next 4 days in north east victoria.
Cheers and happy travels.

Hi Lisa & Peter , I drove from
Omeo to
Tom Groggin about 10 days ago .Only section you may have problems with is last 4-5 km down to
Tom Groggin . New whoa boys (speed humps ) have been installed to stop erosion on the steep
hill heading down to Murray crossing . About 1.5m high and very sharp , I was in dual cab Rodeo and it bellied out on a few of them . I reckon your camper A frame will ground on them . Murray was about 300-400mm deep . Rest of Mt Hope Rd was good.
cheers
Steve

Hullo Lisa and Peter
For river depth,
check Biggara on the BoM river info. Biggara approximates to
Tom Groggin. Rain forecast for VHC for the next few days. Maybe
check with Parks Vic for latest info re track condition. They can deteriorate quickly in that area. If you haven't, suggest you let someone know your intentions and when to come looking for and where! :-)
Cheers
Andrew
