Hello,
We are a couple of senior Poms visiting Australia in September for the first time. At some point during September we shall be visiting Charters Towers, Hughenden and Richmond and we would like to visit Karumba Point. Driving for us is a last option (if at all) and we would like to depend on some form of public transport.
Is there a connection from any stops on the Inlander Rail Service (Townsville to Mt Isa) with the Greyhound Bus Service that runs between Cairns and Karumba? Don't really want to return from Richmond to Townsville, then go up to Cairns to meet the bus!
Can't seem to find this information anywhere.
regards
G & C
