Hi, Have just picked up my MUX very happy but wondering if anyone can help with the DVD player and sound. I do not want to listen to 'Scooby Do' , can you have just the DVD sound in back and music in front? Thanks.

I take it you have the top of the range model?
If that is the case, with the factory DVD player then the only fix is to actually get an after market DVD player with seperate sound as the factory unit uses the vehicle "Surround Sound" system with no indication from Isuzu of changing any time soon.

Cheers Kev

Can you run wireless headphones? Definitely the way to go if the system will run it.

Surely the video is not showing up on the screen in the console? We get a notice about not watching videos whilst driving in our D.Max so I would take it back to your dealer and ask them to sort it. You have to remember that these new gadgets are harder to use than some computers hahahaaha.

Bruce,

See my reply. We looked at the Mux at the 4wd show last month and were told the rear mounted DVD players sound is through the vehicle sound system and Isuzu are not looking to change that anytime soon.
Which makes it a PITA if you are travelling with kids who are watching a DVD when all you as the driver wants to do is listen to music.

Cheers Kev

Well mine don't have a portable DVD player so they either read or look at the scenery :)
