Has anyone recognised, after they returned
home, that during their trip they had gone temporarily insane, or racked by anxiety to a degree they weren't making sounds decisions?

Strange that. I've always thought the madness started when we reach the first set of traffic lights we come to outside
Perth as we return
home. Everyone desperate to get where ever as fast as poss while gobbing off on their mobile at the same time. :-)
Maybe the answer for me is not to come back but the
cook might give me an ear bashing (or just bash me) if I suggested that.

I can agree with that to a point. I wouldn't say insane but I have made some possibly unreasonable decisions mainly based around driving distances in one go that on reflection were not really rational or safe but at the time felt completely comfortable undertaking them.
