Just received "Basic Guide to Parks
Reserves and Forests in VIC" from ExploreOz. As always, the price, service and delivery speed were great.
Unfortunately the book contents are pretty useless to 4WD folk:
There is no information related to 4-wheel driving in Vic forests. While there is info about Walks, Picnic Areas and Camping Areas in each listed Forest/Park, there is no information about Roads or Tracks. Much of the information is quite out of date (published 2008).
Apart from this the book seems
well laid out by region, with black and white photos from most . At only $10 it's not all bad.
