Hi

I am thinking of getting one of those 3m x 3m Klika Marquees (with 5 walls). I am wondering if they are suitable for camping etc. Has anyone who has seen them or owns one got any comments on them?

Looks suspiciously like the painful 3x6m gazebo we had, we got ours from Bunnings and it was 'Marquee' brand but looked exactly the same as those white 3x6 ones on the Klika website. Didnt stand up to wind very well (a lot of flex in the frame as it all joins together like Meccano but with plastic joiners) and the canopy bit was little more than a thin sheet of plastic - tore really easily. Ours was the big one and was a 2 person job to put up and it took ages because you have to assemble the frame every time, do yourself a favour and spend the extra and get an Oztrail one or similar, much more durable, reusable and a cinch to put up.

Thanks for that. I suspected that might be the case.

Might be worth checking out the Kodiak Canvas ones. They have a Screen House tent (3 x 4.35m) thats awesome. Will stand up to near gale force winds (I know... I've been in one !!) and takes 1 person about 10 - 12 minutes to put up. Perfect for camping which is what we use ours for.
Cheers
