FYI

Travelled from Kalkarindji with the van the other day and had no problems with the road.
The slowest sections are close to Kalkarindji and Halls Creek.
There are a few washouts but nothing severe.
Stayed overnight at Sawpit Gorge and Mary Pool, both top spots.

Cheers

Greg

Thanks Greg, we'll be passing through that way again soon. We stayed at Morella Gorge last time so would like to try Sawpit this time for something different. Hope you've been having a great trip, keep safe. Linda

Hi Greg
How did you find Mary's Pool, many people? we stayed there August 2006 and there must have been close to 200 campers. We were lucky to find a spot for our small tent. We only stayed there because we'd read about it and it was too late in the day to move on. Just way too crowded for us and one generator that ran all night long.
Cheers

June

It all depends on when you travel. There where about 30/40 with plenty of room to swing the cat. It's a great place to stay.
A couple of genies but none during the night. I have one as an ornament in the ute at present but took it on the instructions "I need my hair dryer". I kept saying "just put your head out the window" Didn't I get a dirty look!

Anyway I am on holidays so who gives a ….

Cheers
