hi guys, looking at doing
cape york in june-august. i have a 92 maverick duel fuel. any thoughts on this for the trip. thanks petza

Yep... 2 spare jerries of fuel.... Have a
snorkel fitted if you intend to do the OTL because the rivers will prob be a little higher this year..... Make sure your gas fill line from the filler to the tank is flexible and not copper because it will break..... No gas above

thanks for all that. my petrol tank is 75 lt an gas 100. i have been thinking about going to petrol only. as there is no gas up there anyway. thanks again. pete

Rid yourself of the Gas system, and fit a Long range tank and sub tank... No problems with fuel then.
Make sure your car is 100% BEFORE you go, cause it wont be when you get back, roads up there take their toll on a car.
Take lots of film, and have a good time.
