If your after engine info the 80 series still had the 3f petrol. These guys can steer you to earlier model engines regardless of fuel type.

There is also a link to a USA site for older landcruisers on offroad80's which can help you with older petrol and diesel engines.

Post questions, join the chat rooms. Although there is a small member base, they have a wealth of 60 knowledge. Your questions will usually receive a response that day.

On 4wdaction there is a section for Toyota and within that a subsection, specifically for the 60/61 series. many on there and for info relating to 60's it has a wide variety of people and experience. More specific than here most times. People here do own them but possibly not as many enthusiast types.

The good suggestions are on the above posts. It is good to respect the fact that LCOOL draws a line and doesn't want to include the 60series/40series and earlier. The forum originated many, many years ago as 80scool - an email group who were dedicated to just the 80series, and later expanded to include upgrade models, as members upgraded.
