Not sure what happened and I am not going to speculate.
This happened at 80 Mile Beach 2 days ago.
No one was hurt.
Just a reminder to enjoy your holiday and be safe.

Regards

Greg

Yes is so easy for things to turn pear shape look at the All 4 Adventure roll over when one truck was pulling another out of the mud , those guys are professionals at what they do

Professional OR Gung Ho.

A quick assessment of the laws of physics may indicate that the off angle pull would have incurred a transfer of forces/load, as it did.

I'm with the Gung Ho aspect with a bit of panic thrown in for good measure.

True the panic being the new truck and salt water do not mix

I am sure they will look back at this and say we made a mistake

Some times mistakes cost lives no matter how Gung Ho you are

Mate

The outcome looks similar to this... this is from using a gas fridge in a car! Not the smartest thing to do. No one was hurt there either - but it's a good reminder to be safe!

So if some thing like this happened would you be covered by insurance ?

or would it depend on who you are with?

I reckon most insurance companies would cover you...unless of course you did it on purpose! It's probably classed as an "accident"...?

Be happy. Our insurance premiums are costed to include paying out the idiots, the too cheap to buy the right fridge, the illiterate who don't read instructions and the Darwin challengers.

They're bloody big tyres for an 80 series! Insurer would have knocked it back on those alone.
