We are tripping to
Cameron Corner from
Tibooburra and then on to
Innamincka via the
Strzelecki Track etc. I know that SA quarantine prohibits fruit and veg being taken into SA but how strictly is it enforced at
Cameron Corner to
Innamincka?

I don't recall seeing any quarantine bin or sign at
Cameron Corner.
Isn't that down south around Riverland etc? Yes there is a general rule but I don't think that it is enforced, nor even required other than in the more advertised fruit fly zones. We have a similar issue with going up the Tanami from Alice. WE has some restrictions for cross the border fruit and vegatables. The collection bin is up near
Halls Creek.

There are restrictions to what you can bring into South Australia at any border. See
Quarantine South Australia. This show was you can and can't bring from each state.

I never saw anything at
Cameron Corner or
Innamincka on our way to
Birdsville.... very interesting. I knew about WA quarantine but not SA and I've crossed into SA a number of times over the years.
I now know to research it next time!
