Hey guys, picked up an old 3-way electrolux fridge, had it serviced and it runs like a beauty!!!
Problem is how long will it run on a 4kg gas bottle, was hoping someone out there may have a similar old fridge, or an easy way to figure it out. We're spending 5 days on Fraser Island and would hate to have the gas run out.
Here are some details
Mod. No. RC 160 A EGP
Gas Propane 2,75 KPa
Thanks in advance

9kg bottle should last a week or more so 4kg should see you thru for 5 days. You can get refills on Fraser altho I don't know how much. Things aren't too cheap over there. Will depend on ambient temperature and how cold you set it.

Steve
Our previous 3 way was a fridge/freezer and consumed 1lb per day so a 4 kg bottle (8.81848 lbs, give or take an ounce .....;-D) should be fine. Current one is fridge only and uses quite a bit less.

Steve,
I have the 50L chescold fridge/freezer. I can get 7 days/nights running off my 4KG bottle. I am from the NT so our temperatures are always high during the day.. Enjoy, that's what these fridges are best for..
Cheers

If there is a lable on the back of the fridge showing power consumption the gas cosumption in grams per hour or something like that will also be shown.
