To solo females: avoid this place and continue the extra 5kms to
Goondiwindi. I stopped at the little park on the A39 to use the
public toilets (no soap) at about 11am and when I emerged was accosted by a gang of local youths demanding money. I had my purse with me so quickly choofed back to my car on the main road, being screamed at as I left them.
