Anyone out there using the Hema HN7 and finding the screen a little fuzzy or at least not as contrasting as they would like. If so, what did you do to improve the situation.
We have found Tom Tom to be much sharper and therefore easier to read.

Hi Simon and Christine
Firstly is your Tom Tom a 7" screen?
Do you have good eye sight?
I find the HN 7 clear with all maps that I use in OziExplorer mode and in the street mode, it is crystal clear.
I have added other maps to the unit and to the defence of the unit, just as with a
home PC or Laptop, the Natmap top series does lose its crystal clear look when zoomed in over 150%, but bear in mind that these maps are not standard, so if you do not have them, you will not see what it is like.
On the other hand, you can zoom in quite a lot with the Great Desert Series, but the problem then, is that you are only looking at a small area.
I hope that you get it sorted out, as they are a fantastic unit.
Cheers
Sephen
