100 series door hinge bush

Hi all, just wondering what people do as I have worn upper door hinge bushes and I am trying to aviod taking the door off. I have done it before to a Patrol but realy want to know if there are rebuild bits or other bits that will fit. Thanks in advance for any input. JD.

You shouldn't need to take the door off.
Open the door and tie it up to the garage ceiling near the rear edge of the window frame until it takes the weight of the door.
Remove hinge, refurbish, replace hinge in Zachary the same spot and untie door form roof before driving out of garage.
Better option than using a jack underneath, but both can be, the jack for fine adjustment and rope for safety.

Ok so what worked was the tieing to the roof bit and rekitted the hinge with a Torana kit from Rare Spares. TA for the reminder to untie.
