Hi there,

Any locals, Mt Keith workers or others know if there is any public access from the Goldfields highway to these stations?
Somewhere in between the mine and Lake Way?

I used to use a lot of the station tracks 20 years ago when I worked for Western Mining Exploration Division but with all the mining activity etc, thought there may be new or old tracks that may be mainstream/ public roads now.

Cheers

Hi Alan,

I can't help with that particular area. Were you in that area when all the shenanigans were happening at Banjawarn Station, I was in a similar line of work at the time and there were stories of a briefcase full of cash being found on the Weebo Road- along with all the other less tasteful activities.
Will you be going as far east as Collurabbie and Prenti Downs- another nice neck of the woods.

Cheers Tony

Hi Tony,
I was there at the time of the Japanese connection - I didn't hear of any thing like cash being found though.

Prenti Downs isn't on the agenda, however there's a few interesting places around Collurabbie Hills and to the south of there.

Cheers
