Where are you putting them..on a ring retainer on a camper or caravan..or as missile incendiary devices on a roof rack..?

Actually it's on a TVan - under the spare on the front. I took the gas bottles off the Tvan a couple of years ago and the tie down straps have gone mizzun.

Why not contact Track Trailer?
They are very simple, I have the sections that bolt to the gas bottle tray with the cam buckle that I removed from
mine.

Thanks Shaker
Sent them an email but just thought the collective wisdom or Exploroz and TrackTrailerForums might come up with some other ingenious solution. ;-)
cheers

The only other camper that I am aware of that uses a similar tie down system is the Vista RV Crossover.

My 2004 Tvan has the metal circumference ring same as on a caravan, put the gas cylinders in and clamp each 1 up with the bolt/nut.

Great, you give us a needle in a haystack to chase. How about you give us a link to the actual thread. If you go to the thread right click on the heading and select "copy link address" or something similar. Then post that link.

That's
mine - I put the same question there 10 minutes before I put it here. You know - combined wisdom and all that. Sorry for all the kerfullel(?) people. I think I'll probably just try a couple of the metal ring type holders - they look like they'll do the trick.
thanks everyone
Kevin

All they are is a length of 1" webbing with a big loop in one end & the other half has a cam buckle.

Are you sure it wasn't for a spare on the roof rack?

I've had one of these Rhino holders in use on my roof rack for around half a dozen years now and it still works a good as the day I bought it.
