Its probably already been done on here www.delicaclub.com

I have a L400 and just used a marine battery for the second one which I use for a fridge.
The dual batteries are for starting in snow conditions in Japan. Not needed here

Using the red arc isolator.
Not sure what CCA the battery is but it is a N70 which is about the biggest I can fit in.As it is so tight in there I cannot see what the CCA but I think it is around the 600. The second battery is 100 AH and is also a N70.

Anything with dual starting battery's should stay with dual starting battery's, it's done for a reason...... Or do you think Mitsubishi added another starter battery for the hell of it.

These vehicles are a grey import and the dual battery is a winter pack option for the snow fields in Japan with other options of heated front windows to stop the wipers from freezing and remote starting.
Please advise issues in Australia with vehicles that have only one battery?
I have had mine on one battery for over 10 years, no issues with starting.
Most delicas in Australia with dual batteries have converted to a "second battery" for fridges etc. Even in the UK they convert them to single batteries.
At least if one goes it will not takeout the other.
