Hi humpback,
We SWAM with the Whale Shark about 18 years ago and it was just the best experience but I have no idea which company it was. It was anex cray boat, a bit round bottomed so it wallowed but no one cared.
Sorry, that doesn't answer your question but I just wanted to say how fantastic the day was. It cost us about $250 each if I remember correctly.

Humpback

I did it two years ago and it was fantastic. Cannot remember the name of the company but they are at Coral Bay.

An experience I recommend. Well worth it. Had me huffing and puffing trying to keep up. They swim faster than you think.

We did it recently with Ningaloo Blue.
They are very professional and offer some features that others don't AFAIK.
One is that if you don't see a whale shark you get another go for free.

We met a bloke in Exmouth who had lost the top of his right index finger while climbing back onto a Coral Bay boat on a folding ladder that was not locked, had to be medivaced to Perth, and then the company had gone very quiet not answering emails etc.
Even though I got seasick, I still managed to swim alongside one , and my wife swam with 4.
Expensive but worth it.

We used kings out of exmouth just recently, brilliant. Get a copy of the small tourist book for north WA, has some discounts available.

We used 3 Islands whale shark dives at Exmouth. Very professional, had a blast! You can read a little more about our day out on our blog entry Whale sharks

Have a whale of a time! :-)
