Hello, I am trying to find out the dry weight of a "Piggy Back" brand single cab 2300(l)x20509w) x1250 (h) slide on camper. Would any owners have an idea of the weight.

The business is long gone and there is not much info on the net about this slide on camper.

Thanks
Frank

We have one of the last Piggys made and though I have never weighed it I have always believed ours to be under 500kgs dry. But please bear in mind that there was no consistancy in the "floor plan" of Piggy Backs, some had two side doors but most have only one lift up door each side, the size of water tanks and number of batteries varied.
We carry ours on a Nissan Patrol coil-cab ute and have had no trouble at all with it. For our CSR trip I removed the front headboard on the tray and moved it as far forward as possible, ours carrys 110 litres of water, we also had 225 litres of fuel and food and drinks for 5weeks ( trip went out to Rudall River also ) and had no trouble at all.
If I can help with any other queries please post and I will try to answer
Murray
