Gday all, just made a rash decision and bought a Brand new GPS off E BAY,a Magellan 310(been looking for a gps for a while). What are these units capable of ? can you program any maps into them?Paid $200.00 for it ,I notice Exploroz has them for $281.00 so $200 is a good price right?
Must remember not to look at items on E BAY with only seconds(14 sec to be exactly) left!!!

Nick,

Thanks for the reminder the 310 is now no longer available from Magellan. I was supposed to have removed the item from the system and put up the 315. The 310 is still an excellent little basic unit and has the ability to interface with a laptop etc. They are not a mapping unit - so if you want mapping you will need to add OziExplorer and a laptop/CE machine.

Enjoy the purchase and I will no go and maintain the 310 unit in the system.Regards

you can get a disk called data send from any magellan agent. You download an area and put in points of interest i have it and i find quite good. You cant put in street maps or anything like that.but i think you will be happy with data send.
