Morningstar who makes them are a reputable manufacture and many others use their regulators under their own brand name.

BTW why so big, a 1000 watts of panels is big but if you have the room do it as bigger is better.

Morningstar solar regulators are the best in the business.
If you value your batteries and expect longevity using a cheap solar regulator is not smart.
Personally I wouldn't use anything else other than Morningstar solar regulators. We would have 20 Morningstar regulators on the farm. We no longer need to touch the solar systems or check them. No other company gives you a 5 year warranty.

Graeme the Morningstar warranty is 5 years. Morningstar distributors in Australia are a pleasure to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. Morningstar solar regulators are used by professionals in the business because they are so good and reliable.

Hi Travelling. Mine would have been purchased from the 12volt shop in perth sometime late 2005 thats when i purchased my hilux and put the panels on top, and stopped working a little over 12 months later. I have a much cheaper mppt regulater thats performed perfectly ever since. Havent bought anything else from the 12volt shop either. There is good and bad service every where. I only go back where its good.
Cheers Graeme.
