FJ40 with 2F motor - Distributor

Looking to get another distributor for FJ40 with 2F motor. Should I keep as standard, or how hard and costly to change to electronic ignition. What prices would be for either? Having trouble with motor back firing and appears I have a 3F disi, which is the wrong one and does not give me room to turn and get the proper adjustment. Am I looking solely for FJ40 or do other models fit?

years ago I put elect ign on my GQ ,I bought Pirana brand an it worked good
so you could try them ,they do kits for lots of vehicles an you don't have to modify your dizzy ,ie , if it has trouble ,you can revert back to points til ya get it sorted
