Lost City - Lithgow - Accessible without 4WD

I don't want to be smart but you could walk in.

I haven't to the Lost City for a few years but it's a well worn track to the end and wouldn't be a hard walk if you took your time.
I'm not sure what your situation is.

It's not particularly hard in a proper 4wd but there are some rock steps that would pull a normal sedan up. I wouldn't even try it in something like a Honda CRV or Toyota Rav4. You would be scraping the bottom, spinning wheels and throwing rocks everywhere in them.

I have been there a few times in my Patrol. I have seen a raised Subaru come through. I wouldn't go there in a sedan.

I live in Lithgow and have explored that area extensively if you travel further west on the main Bungleborri road and take the next fire trail you can get a normal vehicle to 100mts from the end of the road . This is at the west side of "Lost City and has better views .
