Do all engel fridges work on 12 & 24 volts by just pluging into power socket car 12v or truck 24v?

Hi Duck

The short answer is yes.

It is advisable to unscrew the 12v plug on the end and use one of their othere fittings that are available.

What about the Engels which were never marketed as being 12v &24v and only ever mentioned as 12v. ie pre fan models.

Are they also 24v compatible?

I have one which is 20years old and have never noticed any info relating to 24v.

Hi Ross

Your fridge will also be fine on 24 volts. All Engel fridges are all 12/24/240 volt compatible.

It would be wise to, unless it is specified as also 24v, to just use it on 12v otherwise you may be in for a repair.

Have you tried the manufacturers? They may have more info available than this forum.
