where do you suggest we stay while visiting cairns for a week

Hi - we stayed in Cairns in June last year at a council caravan park right on the beach at Palm Cove - it was being updated at the time so is probably even nicer now - not very expensive compared to others - about 20 minutes north of Cairns - look on their website and was also in Camps Australia book - got a shock as was so much nicer than we imagined

Fantastic place. Make sure you attend the free pancake breakfast on Thursday mornings.

Couldn't agree more. Had 5 nights there in early June. It is an awesome park. So much to do just in the park.
