Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone has mounted a fire extinguisher in a Nissan X-trail, and where did they put it?
I have 2x 2kg extinguishers that I want to put in the car. Possibly one in the cab and one in the boot, or both in the boot if theres no where in the cab to mount it out of the way.
Anyone done similar? Ideas?
Thanks.

You are obviously a wise person to consider carrying a fire extinguisher.
The point of an extinguisher, is that it isn't out of the way. Can it be mounted on the floor in front of the drivers
seat?
I'd suggest it no good in the boot when the balloon goes up.

Hey Bob,
By "out of the way" I more meant not in a location where it is going to get nocked by passengers etc.
I have two, one is going to be in the cab and the other in the boot near the
first aid kit and recovery gear.
I'll have a look at the area in front of the driver/passenger
seat to see if it'll fit there appropriately. Thanks mate.

Probably the best piece of equipment you could put in any car.
I'm not familiar with your vehicle but the only comment I will make is you ensure it is located in such a way it doesn't become a missile in the event of an accident.
