PSE12 with LR3

Hi all,
I am a mad keen photographer and lately I decided to upgrade my Photoshop Elements package to Photo
Shop Elements 12.
I uploaded PSE12 successfully to my laptop, but then my Lightroom 3 package would not run, it just seized up.
So I uninstalled PSE12, LR3 runs fine, so what am I missing here?
Are the two compatable?
I get the feeling that maybe I need to upgrade to Lightroom 5 to be able to run PSE12.
Any help would be appreciated.

Seeing you bought licensed versions why not flick Adobe an email or call their customer support held desk.

I tried that, couldn't find a number for Adobe anywhere, all they want to do is get you to ask questions on Adobe community, what a waste of time that was.

adobe have a
forum link on their site ,try there for an answer , or you could try the folks at PRA digital in town
