Mrs Blue has decided that the Bluefella needs a bit of a tune up, while we are travelling with our caravan so can you please share with me your favourite veggie juice
recipes and fruit juice
recipes or combos'.
(My wife has just got a magic bullet juicer, so as not to get poisoned, or offend, your suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Blue
Don't worry. If your travels take you inland you are probably safe from veggie juice, whatever recipe! The cost of any fruit or veggies that might be available will soon put an end to purchases of sufficient quantity to juice. Those you can find and afford will be tenderly cherished and served daintily as part of dinner. On our last trip we even resorted to frozen veggies and dried fruit, like the locals!
However if you want to really push the boat out buy (usually from a health food
shop) one of those gadgets for sprouting seeds. We got one with three layers. So, when there was no fresh salad or other veggies we had fresh sprouts which are full of goodness (and easily disguised in a sandwich). We travelled the Outback for more than three months without a hint of scurvy. The seeds -we used mung beans and alfalfa- take up little space and weight, are very cheap, full of vitamins and quite tasty. Better than spinach juice! Lynne

That's the thing! A word of warning - it has been suggested that if we take our sprout grower into W A it might be confiscated as "agricultural equipment" by those very keen border inspectors so it might be best not to have any sprouts actually growing and the various layers carefully washed as you cross the border - shades of smuggling through the Berlin Wall! Google 'Raw Meal'. Have a read of the info and reviews on it - good stuff! I have a scoop in 500ml of water of the vanilla flavoured one each day to get some goodness into me...
