Herron Point campground is located approximately 30 kilometres south of
Pinjarra. Turn West off
Forrest Hwy on to
Herron Point Road. Surrounding by Kooljerrenup
Nature Reserve with a magnificent view across the Harvey Estuary. Suitable for large caravans as
well as a separate tent area. Caretakers onsite during Spring/Summer/Autumn. I think there is a 72 hour limit. Flushing
toilets. No potable water. No power. Dogs allowed on leash at all times.
Boat ramp nearby. Crabbing in estuary. Extremely busy during summer, school holidays, long weekends - get there really early or don't bother!
