Bush walking,the dangers when you wander off the designated track

My Nephew had a close call while having a day out at our local National park, He strayed away from the the track and decided to have a look over a rock outcrop, only to slip on a few leaves and rubble nearly going over a twenty mtr drop !!, luckily he grabbed a small sapling and pulled him self back,... Hmm!, footwear, risk taking, comes to mind, when having a wander around a rough terrain.

Mmmm....... know how he feels. Im a bit of a risk taker too.
I stepped out of the grader onto the blade for a leak today! And it was windy.......could have been blown off at any stage!!!!
Talk about risky hey? LOL
