We visited the
Warri Site in August 2014. It started to rain so we cleaned out the tin shed and took shelter for 4 days.
Weather was cold but we had the tin fireplace in the shed working and we were warm and cosy.
To honour the Warri couple we worked on the cairn by erecting a tall metal pipe, collected rocks to place at the base and erected a
Warri Site sign. We recommend taking several rocks in with you to add to the cairn as there are no rocks at the site.
As owners of the "honey ant gallery" we have long been fascinated by the love story of Warri and Yatunga.
