Review: Adjustable Spring Base Mounting Zinc

I ordered a spring base with my new sand flag kit but was unfortunately unable to use it on the bull bar mount on my Toyota LC79. When fitted to the standard Toyota bull bar the mount base is larger than the mounting plate on the bull bar so it projects backwards and prevents the bonnet from lifting. It could probably be made to work with some sort of u-bolt clamps elsewhere on the bull bar but for now I mounted my flag kit without it. However it's a solidly made piece of kit and would be a great asset on vehicles with slightly more space between the bull bar and bonnet.
