I just recently purchased a 2011 Holden Colorado, i wanted to replace the diesel filter under the car passenger side, there is a bleeder wing nut and two wires on white plastic insert , how do the wires disconnect they seem to go up the side of the insert, got me.

If you follow the wires you will see they go into a
grey plug that's attached to the top of the filter mounting bracket. Disconnect from plug, you need to depress a little plastic clippy thing as you pull the plug apart. If its covered in dirt and you are visually challenged take your time to clean up first so you can see what your doing.
Unscrew filter housing and do your thing. Hope this helps.

You sure that's not just the remote water trap? I havent had a colly for a while, but as I recall that is just the trap at the lowest point of the fuel system and is bled off while the engine is running through the yellow tap on the firewall?
Happy to stand corrected.

I have the colorado 2012 onward and would need to change fuel filter soon. If you have already done it, was it difficult? I had a look underneath and it looks complicated? Thanks...

Not usually too complicated, but it's invariably messy!
