I'm looking for a woman's group be it 4x4 club or caravan club that I can join. I'm wanting to hit the road but will be on my own so would prefer to share the experience with a group or just a few other travellers heading in the same direction. Any info would be a help. I am currently living in country Vic. Cheers Robyn

G'day Dereelgirl,
The Australian Caravan Club have a section called Lone Trekkers, a section of the club set up for singles.
Go to www.australiancaravanclub.com.au you will see a
grey bar with SIGS, below that you will find Lone Trekkers, you may have to join the ACC to participate.

You may not find a whole ladies only club, but some clubs may run ladies trips.
It may not be so much the case in the 4wd world, but there are plenty of ladies in the caravan clubs ...pretty
well 50:50 and if the any guys got out of line they would be sure to get clip on the ear.
Whatever...make sure you go and get your share.
