Hi
I am looking to do some beach camping along Teewah beach SEQ around early January .
I want to do some
beach fishing as
well .
Where is the best place to
camp .
Is it going to be wall to wall people.

I would like to add that I like catching beach worms for bait.
Are there plenty of beach worms there ?

yes it will most likely be wall to wall with people....plenty of people will get there on Boxing Day and stay a couple of weeks until after New Years. My guess is that after the 9th it may start to settle down with some people having to return back to work after Xmas break, but i doubt it will be quiet there until kids go back to school.

I am no beach expert, but I would think it difficult for anyone to tell you where the best camping areas for fishing will be this far in advance. Rumpig is right. It will be busy, perhaps already booked out. Go to the National parks site and all the information will be there, including on line booking. Just search "Teawah Beach".

I have checked out the parks site & there is 2950 spots that can be booked on Teewah Beach. Only 600 have booked. I will keep an eye on that site.
