I am at the moment in Vic , going to head to SA
First i need to find some good free sites suitable for a caravan
Can someone help out here

No shortage of good camping in SA (wikicamps is the go)
We spent 6 weeks In South OZ and loved it.

You could also buy a
Holiday Parks Pass for as little as $40 which will give you access to all but the Deserts and
Kangaroo Island park I think.

That is access and camping. I bought one a couple of years back and it even covered power and the washing machine and dryer at Naracorte
Cave NP. SA do a pretty good job in their parks and
places like Stringy Bark
Campground in
Deep Creek Conservation Park provide hot water showers etc.
